Expanded Board of Directors

We are happy to announce that we have expanded our board of directors with two new members.

Marielle Kulling graduated Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University with a B.S. in Physiology and is currently studying at Michigan State in the Masters in Public Health Program. She also works for the Department of Residence Life on campus. In 2012, she will be attending Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine to obtain her doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. Marielle began working with M-CM Network in the Fall of 2011, where she initially collaborated with other members to strengthen the organization's fundraising and communication efforts. She then created the M-CM Network Fundraising Committee and recruited undergraduates at MSU who helped with these efforts. Marielle is now researching and developing our official registry, which will archive incidences of the disorder and accrue data for scientific use in the future. Marielle has extensive background in laboratory research at the University of Michigan, volunteering on campus, and experience in medical and scientific environments. She hopes to use her public health knowledge to enhance the outreach, coordination, and scientific components of M-CM Network.

Amy Pinckney is a health information technician in the Division of Human Genetics at Michigan State University’s Department of Pediatrics and Human Development.  She is working towards a bachelor’s degree in human biology and is interested in pursing additional graduate studies in genetics.  Amy is working on grant writing for M-CM Network.  She is excited to have the opportunity to assist us in receiving the funds to start a disease registry and other projects that will benefit M-CM patient families.

Marielle and Amy bring valued experience and energy to our organization and we are looking forward to fruitful collaboration with them.
